It seems like every plant identification book has a key of its own too. The aim of this workshop is to discover how keys work, which keys are probably the best to get started with and cover any particularly tricky questions. It would be lovely to all key out a specimen together, therefore we will be voting on an example specimen (using close-up photos provided) to decide on which way to get through the key. In advance of the workshop, we will send out a botanical anatomy illustration, so we are familiar with the basic terminology. This is a live and interactive session and so will not be recorded.

Time: 12:00-13:30

Booking and joining: This is an online meeting via Zoom video call.
