Many of our events are virtual and based on Zoom, as either a Webinar or a Virtual Meet Up. Our programme of live training webinars can be found via this link - training webinars.
The details for our Virtual meet ups, workshops and data surgeries, along with any scheduled face-to-face training are listed below with more to be added throughout the season. To book onto any of the events below (face to face or virtual meet ups and data surgeries), simply select "Book on to event", or visit the "My Events" page. This will allow you to select the event you want to book onto from the drop down list.
You will then receive an email notification confirming your booking. You can then view the events you are booked onto via the My Events page.
We have also developed a selection of online training materials that can be downloaded and viewed in your own time.

| Introduction to NPMS and survey methods, Gwynedd |

We can practice the survey methods while enjoying the beautiful north Wales scenery. There should be time to head back indoors to answer any last questions and review resources and support available. | Botanical Skills N.Ireland NPMS Training – Broughshane |

Antrim | Jo Mulholland, BSBI Training officer | Join the Botanical Skills Northern Ireland Project for a training event for the National Plant Monitoring Scheme (NPMS) volunteers. This event will provide NPMS training and an opportunity to ask questions about monitoring your own square. The morning training session will be spent indoors at Houston’s Mill, Broughshane in Co. Antrim. In the afternoon we will record plants on an NPMS square just outside Broughshane, recently taken on by the Friends of Ecos Volunteer Group. This training session will provide attendees with training on using the NPMS app, recording plants at the NPMS wildflower level in different habitats, help recognising NPMS habitats using indicator plants, advice on relocating existing NPMS plots using coordinates, notes, photographs and maps. Focusing on creating your online plots, entering survey data, making edits to your survey forms and how to view your data. Perfect for volunteers that have conducted their first season of surveys and would now like pointers and support getting that important data submitted. Also for anyone that could use a refresher. This is being held as a Zoom workshop, so that we can cover your questions and provide examples.
